Brittany Rose grew up in Gobles, Michigan, a tiny town where nature, animals, and books surrounded her. She has two associate degrees, one in Illustration and the other in Natural Science and Mathematics. Brittany transferred to Eastern Michigan University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a focus on Environmental Science, Biology, Philosophy, and Art. While Brittany was in school she became involved in nonprofit organizations in the Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor areas. She volunteered for the Humane Society of Huron Valley, interned for the Animals and Society Institute, and worked part-time at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washtenaw County. She realized that her passion had always been for art, so she decided to pursue her Master’s in Fine Arts at Eastern Michigan, where she graduated in December 2022. You can find her working in her studio, reading a book, walking her pup, and collecting plants to use in her prints.
